Excuse me, but I feel that while your opinion is yours and you're allowed to communicate how you feel about something reasonably, you do not have the right to tell people that their views of themselves are wrong as you are not them. As good as your intentions may be, you really need to be aware of the fact that you can be doing great emotional damage to any trans people or children. It's not my place to tell you how to think, but only that you understand the possible consequences of your actions

Do you believe in free speech? Writing a blog on Tumblr is about expressing opinions. I’m interested in expanding a discussion that I believe is currently too narrow. If someone’s identity is so fragile that simply reading a stranger’s opinions is going to cause “great emotional damage,” I don’t think that is my responsibility. And as far as damage to kids, while you might not agree with me,  the whole reason I’m even writing this blog is that I think the current psych-medical paradigm has the potential to do great emotional–and physical–damage to gender nonconforming children.
