3Finally I should say, these are not fringe characters. They include some of the sharpest creators of original content on here, often ambitious young academics in their fields. And I should clarify my fandom is nothing to do with gender, in fact it's a lot more hetero than many fandoms on here - I just fear that Tumblr is such a big factor in the spread of destructive genderism that ANY contribution to its value/appeal may be a form of complicity.
