Some medical professionals suggest that toddler transition stories need to be looked at for Munchausen by proxy disorder in the parents.
I think they need to be screened for really severe homophobia too, a lot of these parents would rather have a “straight” kid with a disorder than a gay one that is perfectly healthy
I fucking said it was munchausen by proxy, and got abused for saying it. It’s good to know that some of the medical profession feels the same way.
tehbewilderness do you have names of these skeptical medical professionals? I am keenly interested in this and would blog about them. I have so far not heard of any who actually ID Munchhausen-by-proxy…?
